Description

The inverse critical current density has been found to depend linearly on the sample cross-section. We have assumed that this effect is due to the magnetic field self-induced by the flowing current. In the present work we report experimental data giving the direct confirmation of this assumption. To study the influence of the self-induced magnetic field we have used an YBa2Cu3O7-δ (Tc=92 K) ceramic sample. (orig./BHO)
