Description
The theory of the Faraday optical effect - rotation of the sounding light polarization plane with the frequency Ω under impact of intensive circularly polarized pumping radiation with the frequency ω is developed. The polarization plane Ψ rotation angle is expressed through the medium cubical susceptibilities. In case of the two-photon interband resonance, when the Ω + ω frequency sum approaches the gap between the subbands of dimensional quantization in the valent zone and conductivity zone, the effect amplitude increases sharply. By the Ω + ω fixed values the rotation angle Ψ increases with the decrease in the ω pumping frequency
