Description

The description of the generalized Toda lattices and brief introduction in the theory of roots are presented. The construction a group of reduction from a complete Lie algebra is given. The zero curvature representation is obtained for the two-dimensional generalized Toda lattices connected with semisimple Lie algebras. The reduction group and conservation laws are found and the mass spectrum is calculated
