Improvements in or relating to radiography

Description

This patent specification relates especially to computerised axial tomography. The object of the invention is to overcome the difficulties arising from lack of equality of beam spacing. Inequality arises because the perpendicular distances to the axis of rotation for the beams received by the various detectors vary in substantially sinusoidal fashion from the axis outwards; the paths being more closely spaced towards the edges of the region of interest than they are at the centre thereof.
