Investigation of pipeline connections on the JUTTA and PAULA test benches

Description
In the framework of the final development and operational testing of FEMO pipeline flanges for the German reprocessing plant Wackersdorf, pipeline jumpers were tested in the assembly stand JUTTA for the observance of various specifications (impermeability, mechanical robustness, response to remote control, etc.) and in the test stand PAULA to check their impermeability in case of deformation. According to the present experiments still to be finished, these flange connections represent a reliable connection to the process modules of the reprocessing part. (RB)
Abstract (German)
Im Rahmen der Fertigentwicklung und Eignungspruefung von FEMO-Rohrleitungsflanschen fuer die Deutsche Wiederaufarbeitungsanlage Wackersdorf wurden Rohrleitungsjumper auf die Einhaltung von Spezifikationen (Dichtheit, mechanische Robustheit, fernbedienbare Fuegbarkeit etc.) im Montagebestand JUTTA und im zum Nachweis von Dichtheit unter Verformung erstelltem Pruefstand PAULA getestet. Nach den bisherigen, noch nicht abgeschlossenen Versuchen stellen diese Flanschverbindungen eine zuverlaessige Anbindung an Prozessmodule der Wiederaufarbeitung dar. (RB)Additional details
