Kinetic studies on fracture in high strength structural 35KhN2MFA steel

Description
The results of an experimental study in the limited life, crack resistance and failure kinetics are presented for 35KhN2MFA steel of electroslag remelting. A complex approach is suggested to studies in fatigue resistance of high-strength steel in the range of limited life. Two stages of fatigue are considered before appearance of a macrocrack as well as kinetics of the crack growth. Calculated parameters of fracture toughness under static and cyclic loadings and kinetic parameters of fatigue failure diagram are given
