Dielectronic recombination for Ca(XIII, XII, XI) with K-shell excitation
Description
Dielectronic recombination cross sections for K-shell excitation are evaluated theoretically for Ca(XIII, XII, XI). The relationship between dielectronic recombination and resonant-transfer-excitation cross sections is discussed. The peak ratios of cross sections for ions with different degrees of ionization are compared with the experimental results for the Ca(XIII, XII, XI)+H2 systems. Cascade processes are found to have a large effect on cross sections for the intermediate states with two electrons in the M and higher shells
