Monode plasma sheath dynamics
Description
When a satellite is subjected to x-rays or uv radiation a space-charge sheath is created from the photoelectrons emitted from the surface of the spacecraft. An analytic treatment of the phenomenon is given and the results are compared with those obtained from computer calculations
