Relativistic statistical atom model

Description

The derivation of the relativistic statistical atom model was carried out, starting with the Dirac equation for central fields. It was found that four related expressions for the density can be derived from the same basic formalism, differing from one another in the treatment of a summation over the relativistic quantum number, kappa. The numerical solution of one of these densities is presented and the diamagnetic susceptibility was calculated and compared with experiment
