Relaxation of the deep hole states in spherical nuclei
Description
An optical-phonon model (OPM) is suggested for interpretation of energy dependence of strength functions of deep hole states (DHS). In application to description of DHS relaxation OPM represents a variant of the coupled channel method. Quantitative interpretation of strength functions (1gsub(9/2)) of neutron configurations in sup(115, 119)Sn and sup(123, 129)Te isotopes is conducted in the frames of the OPM. The results of the calculation are graphically presented together with averaged experimental data and results obtained within the frames of the quasiparticle-phonon model. The conducted analysis reveals that the OPM permits to satisfactorily describe DHS strength functions as well as to disclose the main reasons for their gross-structure
