Description
The average pT of the particles produced in ultrarelativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions at CERN quickly saturates with increasing multiplicity. We argue that this is mostly an impact parameter effect and not a signal to the transition to a quark-gluon plasma. We interpret available data and give predictions for Pb-Pb collisions. (orig.)
