The presentation Comparative Analysis of the Equipment and Process for SNF Removal in the Far East and in North West by Alexander Pimenov, Rosatom, Russia, described technological similarities and differences of SNF retrieval from these two SNF coastal storage facilities. The experience that had been acquired earlier in the Far-East was to be used in a more complicated legacy storage facility in the North-West, where joint international projects were carried out.
