Device for multiplying electrons by secondary emission, comprising a first multiplying electrode of the ''channel plate'' type, these channels forming a bidimensional network defined by two main directions at 600. This device also includes an electron deflecting grid made of metal wires forming a multiplicity of hexagons possessing a centre of symmetry. Applies to the making of photomultiplier

Ce dispositif comporte egalement une grille deflectrice d'electrons formee de fils metalliques formant une pluralite d'hexagones possedant un centre de symetrie. Application a la realisation de tubes photomultiplicateurs
