Influence of nickel, manganese and copper on stability of chromium-free austenite on cold plastic deformation
Creators
Description
Effect of plastic deformation by rolling with different total compression degree (up to 55 %) on the production of deformation martensite in chromium-free austenite steels of 16 compositions is investigated. Calculation of manganese, nickel and copper effect on austenite stabilization under plastic deformation is made. Based on the calculation, nickel equivalent of γ-stabilization using which one can calculate the value of plastic deformation at which γ->α' transformation starts, for steels of the types indicated, is determined. 5 refs., 5 figs., 1 tab
