Crystal structure of Ca0,8Nd0,2F2,2 according to precision X-ray diffraction data
Description
Electronic structure of the single crystal Ca0.8Nd0.8F2.2(fluorite-type) has been studied by means of precision X-ray diffraction technique. The distribution of fluorine ion among interstitial positions has been established. Based on comparative analysis of crystal structure of CaF2 and NdF3 the new tysonite-like cluster has been proposed for adequate description of anionic distribution in highly doped solid solution under investigation
