16O and 32S+207Pb interactions in the CERN EMU-05 experiment
Description
Emission angles, momenta and charge-signs of all charged particles in forward hemisphere have been measured in 16O + Pb and 32S + Pb interactions at incident energy of 200 GeV per nucleon. The multiplicity distributions of 16O and 32S nucleus interactions are almost scaling expressed as a function of scaling variable Z(≡ Ns/). The ratio of average pseudorapidity density of 16O + Pb to that of proton(200 GeV/c) + Pb is flat almost all over the range of η≡ -ln tan θ/2). Measuring momentum of central-forward charged particles for high multiplicity events, we have obtained their transverse momentum(PT) distributions as preliminary results. (author)
