Description

The expanding employment of ionizing radiation sources in industry, science and medicine promoted development of definite organization of medical surveillance on workers in the ionizing radiation sphere, whose number is constantly increasing. The organization and tasks of medical surveillance, the parameters and criteria serving to evaluate the state of health of persons with different forms of professional contact with ionizing radiation sources, are described. They serve as a basis for optimizing medical surveillance, for a further constant improvement of its quality and effectiveness
