Description
We study the W and Z pair productions initiated from a vector boson V of the strongly interacting sector of the standard model and from an isoscalar spin-zero composite σ tilde boson coupled to gluon pairs. If the UA1 data on W+ jet-jet production are confirmed, they might indicate the presence of the σ tilde boson having a Higgs-type coupling to W pairs. Effects of the V boson are also compatible with present data. (orig.)
