The TISOL facility at TRIUMF

Description
The newly operational TISOL facility at TRIUMF uses two different ion sources: a heated surface, and ECR. This allows the production of radioactive ion beams from a wide range of elements including low Z gaseous species. The projects being considered are studies of the decay properties of nuclei far from stability, and detailed spectroscopic studies of selected nuclei
