Ceramics on the basis of ZrO2-containing systems

Description

The paper presents the results of an investigation into the phase composition and thermomechanical properties of ceramics based on melted ZrO2-containing eutectics produced in radiant heating furnaces. ZrO2 stabilization in the near-eutectic compositions of ZrO2-Al2O3 (MgAl2O4, SiO2, multiple) systems by magnesium and yttrium oxides is studied. Optimal quantities of stabilizing additions under present synthesis conditions are determined
