Description

One of the most developed approaches to physics of strong interactions - the theory of complex momenta - is considered. The theory of the Regge poles and a theoretical scheme, where besides the poles the branchings of a complex plane of angular momentum have been taken account of, are stated in detail. The Regge poles were investigated in potential scattering in the field theory and in other models of strong interactions. Problems related to the Regge approach to multiparticle reactions including inclusive processes have been discussed. Predictions of the Regge theory for the behaviour of multiparticle process amplitudes have been made. Different models for cross section behaviour at high energies have been studied. Considered are some aspects of duality and bootstrap hypothesis as well as relation of the complex momentum method and weak interactions
