Der Band enthaelt Berichte aus 19 Laendern ueber den Stand der Projekte der Bestrahlung von Lebensmitteln (Obst, Gemuese, Fleisch, Gewuerze) und durch Gamma-Strahlung. Die Versuche wurden in der Zeit bis 1982 durchgefuehrt. Mikrobiologische Strahlenempfindlichkeit und Mutagenitaetstests geben ein Mass fuer die Effizienz der Bestrahlung. (AJ)
