Description
The authors describes the features for the nuclear research reactors and compares the features of the HFETR (High Flux Engineering Test Reactor). MJTR (Mingjiang Test Reactor) and PRC-1 (Pulse Reactor of China-1) in the Nuclear Power Institute of China. Major point of safety analysis is placed on the HFETR. Through comparisons, it is showed that the safety of PRC-1 is better than that of MJTR and HFETR. Because the HFETR was constructed earlier and have higher power, it has higher risk than MTTR. So that emphasis for the safety management must be placed on HFETR in order to ensure reactors safety
