Effective interaction of valent nucleons in nuclei
Description
All the available data on the two-quasiparticle spectra in the vicinity of 40Ca, 48Ca, 88Sr, 90Zr, 208Pb magic nuclei are used to find the effective forces acting between valent nucleons. The contribution independent from spins and isospins as well as different spin and isospin components of central interaction to these forces is reliably stated. Contribution of tensor forces requires specification. The relation is investigated between the finite-range forces and interaction of Skyrme type. The obtained effective interaction is compared to the forces determined by other authors
