HTGR Fuel Development and Testing
Description
The German HTR fuel element and graphite development program has the principal objectives of providing, at the appropiate stages of HTR systems development, fuel elements for the operation of the AVR research reactor, for the prototype plant THTR-300 now under construction, and for the planned advanced HTR systems with the integrated helium turbine as well as with-the generation of nuclear process heat.
