Data scanner and event builder for the SMVD of the KEK B-factory

Description
The authors are designing a readout system for a silicon microstrip vertex detector (SMVD) to be used in the KEK B-factory experiment. In order to obtain optimum numbers for the buffer size and the processing time they have constructed a simplified model using Verilog Hardware Description language (HDL). They estimated the live-time fractions of the SMVD readout system for various configurations
