Description

AECL's advanced CANDU reactor strategy is based on an aggressive development programme which builds on the company's current products to create a future-generation reactor concept that meets the needs of world markets. Concurrently, evolutionary improvements are being spun off to existing designs. These emphasise safety, reduced capital and O and M costs, and low project risk. (author)
