Ion-acoustic instability and transport inhibition in laser plasmas

Description

We present in this report the threshold of the ion-acoustic instability triggered either by an electron-ion drift or by an electron temperature gradient: the heat flux limit coefficient at theshold is determined as a function of electron and ion temperatures, and ion charge and mass; this limit coefficient can correspond to a strong transport inhibition in a laser plasma
