Iodinated 1,4-naphthoquinones

Description
A modified I2-HIO3 system is studied for its possible use for iodination of aminonaphthoquinones. The results of elementary analysis and 1H NMR studies demonstrate that iodination of 5-amino- and 6-amino-1,4-naphthoquinones with I2 and HIO3 in aqueous dioxane occurs only at the benzoid ring. Depending on the reaction conditions, either aminoiodo- or aminodiiodonaphthoquinones are produced. Diazotization of these compounds followed by reduction or replacement of the diazo group with iodine affords mono- or polyiodo derivatives of 1,4-naphthoquinone

Изучена возможность использования модифицированной системы I2-HIO3 для иодирования аминонафтохинонов. На основе данных ЯМР 1H и элементного анализа установлено, что 5-амино- и 6-амино- 1,4-нафтохиноны иодируются в бензоидное кольцо под действием I2 и HIO3 в водном диоксане. В зависимости от условий реакции получаются аминоиод- или аминодииоднафтохиноны, диазотирование которых с последующим восстановлением или замещением диазогруппы на иод приводит к моно- и полииодпроизводным 1,4-нафтохинонаAdditional details
