Effects of the strangeness form factor of the nucleon and the charge form factor of the neutron on the asymmetry of 208Pb(e-vector,e)208Pb

Description

Effects of the strangeness vector current form factor of the nucleon (GEs) and the charge form factor of the neutron (GEn) on the asymmetry of 208Pb(e-vector, e)208Pb are investigated. The asymmetry is found to be sensitive to the neutron and proton distributions in the nucleus. The measurement of the asymmetry at low q (≤ 1 fm-1) can give us accurate information of the difference of the radii between neutron and proton distributions. (author)
