The nuclear debate. Reprocessing: La Hague. The weaker link

Working conditions of the reprocessing plant are examined. The actual capacity of the plant is estimated. Tables and graphs give radiation doses of workers and comparisons are made with other reprocessing plants. Ageing of the plant, waste disposal into the sea and limits of the Purex process are also discussed

On examine les conditions de travail de l'usine de La Hague. On estime la capacite reelle de l'usine. Les doses d'irradiation du personnel sont portees sur des tables et graphiques et on les compare avec les autres usines de retraitement. On discute egalement des problemes de vieillissement de l'usine, des rejets en mer et des limites du procede Purex
