Field and deformation potential mechanisms of the acoustoelectric effect in YBa2Cu3O7-x films

Description

The acoustoelectric effect caused by a piezoelectric field in the layered structure (YZ-LiNbO3-gap-YBa2Cu3O7-x film on MgO) is studied for different gaps. At T<Tc the anomaly observed earlier is not found. This means that the anomaly is due to the mechanical deformation of the film by the acoustic wave. The field and deformation potential mechanisms of the effect are discussed. Our analysis gives evidence for a strong electron-phonon interaction. (orig.)
