Left-right symmetry and nonperturbative unification

Description
The idea of nonperturbative unification (NPU) is used in calculating the scale (ΛR) of right-handed gauge symmetry breaking. It is found that if left-right symmetry is broken by fundamental scalar fields and if ΛR is in the TeV region (in fact, less than 106--107 TeV) or if the left-right symmetry is broken dynamically then there must exist massive (≥250 GeV) colorless, left-right singlet but charged fermions. Very briefly, it is indicated that the ''walking coupling'' scenario can be incorporated within the NPU framework
