21 cm flux density measurements of sources from the NRAO-MPIfR 6 cm surveys
- 1. Max-Planck Institut fuer Radioastronomie, Auf dem Huegel 69, D--5300 Bonn 1, Germany Federal Republic
Description
21 cm flux densities are presented for 345 sources from the NRAO-MPI 6 cm surveys. The distribution of the two-point spectral indices between 21 and 6 cm, α216, for the sources with 6 cm flux densities > or =0.8 Jy shows a double peak structure (α is defined by s proportional ν/sup chemically bond/). The peak around α216approx.0.8 contains mainly galaxies and the peak around α216approx.0 contains predominantly quasars
