Low temperature phase stability and phase transitions in the layered compound 1T-VSe2
Description
Low temperature phase stability in the 1T-VSe2 layered compound with respect to order parameter small fluctuations is analyzed. It is shown that the 2q' phase (Δ, Δ, δ) charge density wave (CDW) amplitudes is stable in 1T-VSe2, and there is a region of the Landau theory parameters, where |δ/Δ|<<1. It is found that two types of 3q phases with different CDW phases can exist in 1T-VSe2. The stability areas and possible sequences of phase transitions in 1T-VSe2 are determined
