Validation of nuclear and radiation safety criteria under extracting the fuel-containing materials and rad waste with the use of remotely controlled techniques

Description

Principles and criteria are described for provision of nuclear and radiation safety during the extraction of the fuel-containing materials (FCM) and rad wastes (RW) with the use of remotely controlled techniques (RCT), models of possible emergency situations under extraction process, containerisation, transportation and storage of the FCM and RW are given, FCM and RW models are represented to provide the preliminary calculated researches for the validation of assurance of nuclear and radiation safety during the work implementation and setup of a store, results of the calculated estimates for the change of multiplying properties of the FCM and radiation conditions under possible emergency situations are described, which may occur in the course of use of the RCT involved in the clean-up works in the under-reactor premises. 31 refs., 13 tab
