Photo aging of crystalline polymer nano composites

Description
Present article is devoted to study of the photo aging of crystalline polymer nano composites. Changes in the structure and properties of a crystalline nano composite based on low-density polyethylene, isotactic polypropylene and fullerenes under the action of ultraviolet light have been studied. It has been shown that during photo aging, the mechanical and thermal properties of composites undergo the greatest changes, while their structure remains unchanged. These changes are associated with the development of crosslinking processes and destruction of chain molecules during irradiation. (author)
