Higgs boson mass and the vacuum properties of electroweak interactions in the magnetic field
Description
Behaviour of the one-loop effective potential in magnetic field is studied as function of the ratio of the Higgs and W boson mass squares K=m2/M2. A qualitative change of the behaviour is found at m=m0 approximately 3-3.3 M. As a result, essentially different phase transitions arise for mm0. Field induced phase transitions for the both cases are briefly discussed
