X-ray and photoelectron spectra of transition elements in ferro- and paramagnetic states

  • 1. AN SSSR, Sverdlovsk. Inst. Fiziki Metallov

Description

Effect of thermodynamic fluctuations of electron spin density on the configuration of X-ray and photoelectron spectra of ferromagnetic transition elements is considered. Temperature behaviour of electron state density is studied in 2 approximations: fluctuating exchange gap and local fluctuations. Basing on the fluctuations approach and accounting of the local magnetic moment correlations it is possible to explain experimentally observed absence of the dependence of spectra shape on the temperature also in transition to paramagnetic state
