Description

Studies of the nature and mechanisms of phase transitions in ferroelectric-ferroelastic superionic crystals K3Nb3B2O12 (KNB) with a frame tunnel structure are continued. Solid solution monocrystals on the basis of KNB with Ta5+ (KNBT) and Sb5+ (KNBS) isotopic substitution for Nb5+ were grown. At tantalum concentration exceeding 15 at. % the relevant solid solutions decompose at room temperature. Tantalum introduction gives rise to a high blurring of phase transitions but their temperature varies slightly. The KNBS solid solutions are limited. It was detected that increase in antimony concentration decreases essentially the temperature of high-temperature phase transitions, meanwhile, electric conductivity of the crystals increases by 1-1.5 orders of magnitude
