Description
A radiochemical LLX procedure has been developed for the separation of trace amounts of neutron activated rubidium and strontium from their mixture in perchloric acid medium using 18C6 (18-crown-6 ether) in nitrobenzene as the extractant. Gamma radiation stability of the extractant as well as that of the metal-extractant complex was examined. (author)
