Nonlinear ponderomotive force effects on plasma resonance cones

Description

The nonlinear equation is derived governing the field on two-dimensional resonance cones in a plasma for all frequencies for which the resonance cones exist. This equation reduces to the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation only if the electric field is real. (Auth.)
