Device for opening and closing of sluice gates particularly in nuclear power plants

Description

The device comprises a frame pivoted on a horizontal axis. The sluice gate is hinged to the crossbar of the frame in a manner to allow displacement and tight pressing of the sluice gate towards the opening of the sluice. According to the invention the crossbar is shiftable in the direction of side arms of the frame by means of toggle levers pivoted on those side arms. To synchronize the toggle levers they are interconnected by a differential shaft. (P.K.)
