Description
A simple and rapid method is described and evaluated of radioimmunoassay of plasma testosterone in men. In analyses at pH 3.5, the interfering effect of endogenous plasma testosterone-estradiol binding globulin can be eliminated while the binding properties of the specific antibody are preserved. This makes it possible to omit extraction. The procedure is suited for automated analytical systems. (author)
