Lifetime measurements in 126Ba

Description
Mean lifetimes of high-spin states in 126Ba were measured using the recoil distance Doppler-shift method. The effect of different sidefeeding times on the results is shown. The B(E2) values are compared to theoretical predictions of collective models. (author)
