Fecamp offshore wind farm - High Cliff offshore wind turbines. Environmental report 2023

Description

This document constitutes the environmental report for the Fecamp offshore wind farm project for the calendar year 2023. It presents all the measures implemented in terms of environmental monitoring as well as project impact reduction and environmental support: context; accidental pollution prevention and control; environmental management; monitoring progress; monitoring the effects of the project on the environment (bio-sedimentary monitoring (benthic populations and habitats); monitoring ichthyofauna and fishery resources; monitoring ambient underwater noise and passive acoustics of marine mammals; monitoring marine mammals and birds by plane and boat; automated monitoring of birds by radar and acoustics; monitoring of cliff breeding avifauna; telemetric monitoring of kittiwakes; monitoring of chiropteran activity; monitoring of water quality; monitoring of bottom evolution and bathymetry; monitoring of sediment quality and water quality following the installation of sacrificial anodes; setting up of a marine mammal monitoring system during pile driving for the electrical substation; monitoring of avifauna in the ocean dock - gravity foundations); progress of accompanying, reduction and compensation measures
