A pocket type thermoluminescent personnel dosimeter
- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Div. of Radiation Protection
Description
A pocket type thermoluminescent personnel dosemeter using CaSO4 : Dy phosphor is described. Two glass capillaries containing the phosphor are fitted into a plastic tube and covered by a cylindrical filter. The combination is fitted into an ink barrel of a fountain pen. The response of this Dy glass dosimeter was studied for various incident photon energies. A uniform response over the energy range from 33 keV to 1250 keV is achieved. (A.K.)
