Legal aspects of radiation protection provisions

Legal aspects of radiation protection provisions when using ionizing radiation sources (IRS) in different branches are characterized in general. The main statements of the documents Standards of radiation protection NRB - 76 and Main sanitary rules of operation with radioactive materials and other sources of ionizing radiations OsP-72/80 are considered. The first of them is the main document regulating levels of ionizing radiation effect on different groups of population. The OsP-72/80 is the principal standard interdepartamental act presupposing a set of requirements for provision of radiation protection at all stages of the technological process of IRS handling
