Extraction of Eu(III) by high molecular weight amines from aqueous nitrate and sulphate media
Description
The extraction of Eu(III) by al amine-336 and aliquat -336 has been investigated. The extraction was carried out separately from aqueous media containing nitrate and sulphate anions. The results showed that, from nitrate medium, al amine-336 extracts Eu(III) better than aliquat-336. From sulphate medium, the reverse is prevailed. The data obtained showed that, in presence of sulphate salts, Eu(III) has the ability to form anionic complexes with these anions, while nitrate anions, the case is different
