Neutron resonances and experiments with polarized neutrons and nuclei
Description
The present paper gives a survey of investigations carried out at JINR on neutron resonances with polarized neutrons and nuclei. The experimental data on magnetic moments of compound states of rare-earth nuclei together with the discussion of their properties and comparison with theory are presented. The determination of the spin dependence of neutron-nuclear interaction cross section in the neutron energy range up to 100 keV is described. The spin dependence of the neutron strength function is under discussion
